DESCRIPTION
The Double Your Impact booth was given a complete overhaul in July 2011 to support two other initiatives supported by the 5 year campaign: church planting in the city and development of an under-resourced area of North Omaha. One side of the booth was framed up to look like a house under construction complete with a new roof with attic space, insulation, drywall, a wall of blueprints, an actual newspaper receptacle, and a custom window seat with video projection featuring a scene from a North Omaha neighborhood. The other side of the booth showcased the city of Omaha with a custom floor to ceiling wallpaper map, Omaha pin sculpture converted into a card receptacle, and a video screen inset into the wall featuring an animation explaining the vision of reaching the city.
