Inktober 2012 – Day 8

I’ve been watching The Gruffalo with the kids again. I love the style of this short little storybook movie. I thought it was the perfect series to attempt a new technique for me – ink wash. I watched a YouTube instructional video, what could go wrong? I love the opportunities in these next four drawings for shading, texture and fun shapes.
