I used to work at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo when I was in college designing touch screens and working in the Graphics department. A few times on my way in to work I would see some of the keepers walking around in the giraffe and ostrich area holding a plunger above their heads. When I asked them what it was all about, they said that ostriches will defend their area attaching anyone who comes in unless they think you are a threat. Luckily, ostriches have very small brains and if you hold anything above your head it makes you look taller to them and they will leave you alone. I thought it was worth a try in this Carnosaurus area as some cave keepers take care of some dirty work.
