Inktober 2013 Review

Posted on Nov 1, 2013 in Blog, Inktober

This was one of my busiest years and one of the easiest excuses ever to not participate in an endeavor that takes upwards of 75 hours, has little exposure and doesn’t pay a dime. So why Inktober? I guess part of me would love to be an illustrator and Inktober unites illustrators from around the world. I also love being part of something so unstructured and creative. I suppose, in the end, I don’t know why exactly – but I’m glad I did. I got to have 31 new experiences that have shaped me in some way and that one day might inspire someone else. Will there be an Inktober 2014 for me? Time will tell. For now, check out my entire set of drawings from 2013 below:

I’d like to thank Jake Parker for hosting yet another successful Inktober. Go buy his Inktober book and original drawings on his Online Shop.
