Inktober 2014 – Day 27

This is an exciting day. I just completed my second Moleskine sketchbook since joining the Inktober fray! I was hoping I could get all of 2014 in this book, but it looks like 28 – 31 will have to break in the next book (which will sadly last me quite a long time). I wanted to draw a stone tower for this day and as I was drawing this crazy crooked mess, I decided to throw a little storybook into it and portray a scene from Rapunzel. This was a lot of fun. I really like the streak marks in the sky and the reverse shading on the right side of the tower.
