Inktober 2015 – Day 14
I decided to keep going with the creepy kids’ movie theme and turn it into another mini series of drawings. Another fun Jim Henson movie was Labyrinth which I watched dozens of times when I was younger. I loved the characters and set out to draw Sir Didymus astride his faithful steed, but felt the dog theme was perhaps overdone – so I went with a screenshot I found of Sarah and Ludo. I thought it paired well with the screenshot I found of The Dark Crystal for drawing #13. These drawings take hours most nights, but I was able to pull this one off in only 30 minutes – might be a new record! Stay tuned for the next creepy kids’ movie duo!
