Inktober 2015 – Day 16

We’re beyond the half way point in this Inktober marathon! Way to go for those of you who have been keeping up with the drawing a day schedule. I just started following a friend’s Pinterest board and saw a great concept illustration of a spider with a lightbulb abdomen, which of course needs to be “spun” into an ink drawing! Here is my take combining more of a steam punk style to a black widow frame. I used my smallest nib pen and took my time trying to figure out some machinery at a micro scale. This will be a cool one to shade and color some day after Inktober is over.

Ink used: Pilot Hi-Tec-C Maica Gel Pen – 0.3 mm
