Inktober 2015 – Day 17

Every year I try to improve my pumpkin carving skills right alongside my inking skills and try to fit in a sketch to help plan what I’m going to create. This year I wanted to do a King Kong carving, but after looking at movie references and thinking through my limitations I changed directions and decided to go with the Angry character from Pixar’s Inside Out. I loved this movie and think his tiki-like exploding head will make for a fun pumpkin carving this year!
