Inktober 2015 – Day 23

I love drawing giants and creatures that are a bit ridiculous in scale to a scene. One big iconic creature which I thought could provide a fun opportunity to exaggerate and stylize would be King Kong. I had a lot of fun working on the hair. It became a bit of a nightmare as an old pen decided to clog and inhibit ink flow, but in the end, it gave my drawing a very velvety rich texture. Happy accidents, right?
