Inktober 2016 is in the record books! I can't believe I've been blessed enough to participate, and complete, 5 Inktober marathons now. It is always so much fun AND so much work! This year I tried to work smarter and cut out some of the production. Cell phone pics replaced polished scans, and social media took over for my blog. I also took a different direction with content by removing cheesy humor that I tend to lean on too much so I could focus more on solid illustration, although I think I lost a little storytelling in the process. A great take away this year was interacting more on social media which is the most encouraging part of this challenge. I love my community and am excited by the engagement online!
